Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) is a non-invasive, painless, radiation-free test of physiology. By taking a “thermal picture” of your body, DITI can be used to detect subtle changes that accompany pathology. It is most commonly used as a screening tool for breast health (e.g. fibrocystic breast disease, infection, vascular disease, etc…).
It can also be used as an aid for diagnosis, prognosis, and in monitoring treatment progress in many different conditions, including but not limited to:
- Back injuries
- Breast disease
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Nerve damage
- Inflammatory pain
- Unexplained pain
- RSD (CRPS)
and many more!
X-rays, Ultrasound, CT scans, MRIs, etc… are all tests of “anatomy” that measure physical structures of your body; DITI is unique in its capability to show physiological change and metabolic processes.
The tests themselves are painless, short and easy, and printed reports are usually available within a few days.
